About Me

Japman Bajaj
Japman Bajaj is an up and coming entrepreneur, an avid Tweeter, and passionate about building real, meaningful relationships with other people. Interests include social media, human psychology, and volunteering.
From a young age, Japman has dealt with difficulties and adversity with a light sense of humour and a laugh. The lessons learnt and the character built from those experiences has made him the open-minded, open-hearted, and ambitious man that he is today.
For many years, Japman dabbled with various ideas of what his future would hold. For a while, he wanted to be an NBA superstar, but that dream died when he was inexplicably passed over in his first year of draft eligibility. Also, he wasn’t very good.
Thoughts about law, finance, and at one point, even policing came across his mind. But in his second year of university at Carleton University, Japman accidentally came across ACE, a student club affiliated to a national not-for-profit organization. That’s when his life changed
Now, Japman is always looking at every possible way to expand himself as an individual, and to maximize his contribution to the communities of which he is a part. Education and mentoring have overshadowed his long-term goals, and experience and fearlessness are his short-term goals.
Japman is an excellent speaker with a stage presence and an ability to build connections with his audience. He has delivered speeches and presentations to audiences from 20 to 500 people and has also actively engaged high school students in personal motivation.
Japman is a food lover, a coffee lover, a fitness lover, an Ottawa Senators lover, a travel lover, a sports lover, a spirituality lover, and a passion lover, and clearly, a lover of speaking in the third person. Professionally, Japman is an entrepreneur, and a Director of the Board of Carleton SIFE. As a youth entrepreneur and motivator, he helps students tap into their potential and pursue their dreams. If any of that sounds even remotely interesting to you, you can contact him here!
